The all you would really need is two turntables, a mixer and headphones. Or if you decide you want to use cd's, you will go for two cdjs, a mixer, and headphones. The program most likely used is Fruity Loops or Reason. I know of a site called that has a nice selection of cdjs, headphones and accessories.
